Porter Medical Center  Porter Hospital, a 45-bed community hospital founded in 1925, offers comprehensive medical care and 24-hour emergency services. The Porter Hospital Medical Staff consists of more than 60 physicians offering primary care and an array of specialty medical care. Porter Medical Center is a non-profit health care system located in Middlebury, Vermont. Porter Medical Center and its subsidiary corporations are organized for the primary purpose of providing medical and long-term care services for residents of a broad service area encompassing Addison County, northern Rutland County, northeastern New York State, students and staff of Middlebury College and visitors to the area.
