Central Vermont Medical Center  Central Vermont Hospital is a not-for-profit, 122–bed facility that provides comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and 24–hour emergency care to approximately 66,000 people living and working in 26 central Vermont communities. It is one of the largest employers in the central Vermont area and maintains a payroll of more than $33 million. The hospital includes Woodridge Nursing Home and medical group practices. Our medical staff numbers 121 physicians providing care from their private practices as well as from CVMC’s fifteen community-based medical group practices. We employ 1,300 full and part-time employees, and depend on hundreds of volunteers as well as financial contributors who help carry out our mission.
